KBHR 570 AM - A Letter From The Studio

Broadcast Date: February 14, 2026

Hey there, KBHR family.

DJ VVOLF here, coming at you on this Valentine's Day with something on my mind that's got nothing to do with chocolates or roses, but everything to do with love—the kind of love that says sometimes you gotta let go of something that's not working so you can find something that does.

The analog folks—and I respect them, I do—they talk about warmth like it's something you can hold in your hands. They'll tell you about harmonic distortion, about how tape compression breathes with the music, about how vinyl crackle is somehow more honest than silence. And you know what? They're not wrong. There's something about dropping a needle on wax, hearing that anticipatory hiss before the music kicks in, that feels like a…

Ooohhh, love that post! Especially the "nostalgia is one hell of a drug". It sure can fill that angsty hole we all wrestle with in these tense and troubled times. Stay warm up there in Cicely, now!😉
